PRESERVING WESTERN HERITAGE FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS
The Arvada Area Horsemen’s Association represents equine enthusiasts in their mutual concern for trails, planned development, and conditions that facilitate equine activities. We work under the auspices of the City of Arvada, administering the maintenance, improvements, and use of the Indiana Equestrian Center, which is open for riding 365 days a year, dawn to dusk.

The Arvada area is one of Colorado’s most historic equestrian communities. With all the growth in Colorado, our equestrian heritage is disappearing. We are proactively working with our local community to alter current development plans in favor of preserving our acreage properties and equestrian stables.

Safe access to open spaces and equestrian trail systems is an important part of our community and heritage in the Arvada area. Our goal is to support efforts to increase the number of trail systems and safe access routes so that everyone can safely enjoy riding horses in beautiful Colorado.
